Here we go! The beginning of my third blog. Today starts the beginning of new topics to talk about as I endure new challenges, new beginnings, new hopes and dreams, new struggles and maybe even some set backs.
A little back story: My first blog was back in college. It was a homework assignment of sorts to create your own blog and write in it everyday about whatever you wanted. (I was an English major). The blog started out as something that HAD to be done, but by the time the assignment was up and the next semester had already begun, I found that I was still writing in my blog. It was a blog that eventually kept me really faithful to my weight loss and I lost 40lbs! I didn't only lose however... I ended up gaining a group of really awesome, fellow-blog-loving friends-- some of whom I am still friends with today on Facebook. Being a dancer for 20 years, I also would post my dreams of losing the 40lbs and becoming a Radio City Rockette... the ultimate dancer dream. I tried out, and posted my experiences on the blog.

From what at first started as a simple homework assignment, turned into another way of expressing myself, a way of staying loyal to losing weight, and a way of gaining advice by others who were looking to stay in shape and get healthy.
After blogging for almost 2 years, I ended up meeting a man that I am now married too. We had a 2 year engagement in which I started my second blog, "Something Blogged, Something Blue", in which my intent was to blog about all things wedding until my big day. I was not as much faithful to that one as I thought I would be.... I guess I was too busy finishing up my college degrees and planning a wedding!
Now it's blog #3. This is kind of just my life in a blog. It's not going to have any real sense of direction. I'll blog about all kinds of things. My husband and I are lovers of all things hiking, healthy foods, eating out, books, adventure, ice cream, and DIY projects.
